A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available for PhD holders with experience in neuroscience and virology for a collaboration project between the Chua and Chu labs. The successful candidate will manage and execute the research project (including design, conduct, collection of experiments and data analyses) and provide support to the Principal Investigator and his team.
Candidates should possess strong background and working knowledge of molecular biology, cell biology and biochemical techniques such as cell culture, cloning, real-time PCR, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence-based microscopy. Prior experience in small animal experimentation is preferred.
Prior experience in virology and/or neuroscience is preferred. Candidates should have a good publication record in international peer-reviewed journals and are expected to be able to work both independently and in team-based projects. Able to effectively communicate in written and spoken English.
