Dear Colleagues,
Here is an update on our Neuroscience Singapore symposium that is scheduled for Sept 26 – 27th 2019.
- The abstract deadline is 15th August 2019 at 11:59 pm. We aim to include participation by post-docs and students; a number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Please (1) join the Chapter, (2) register for the meeting, and (3) submit your abstract online. If you are a member of SfN Singapore, there is no registration charge.
- The meeting begins on the late afternoon of the 26th of Sept. There is no overlap with the 11th Models of Disease and Physiology Symposium at NUS.
- There are two keynote speakers who work in different areas neuroscience – the first is Christof Koch who works on consciousness, and the second is Hailan Hu who works on mental disorders such as depression. These talks will be accessible to a broad audience.
- As part of the Chapter’s outreach to the public, this meeting will feature an exhibition by artists in collaboration with neuroscientists. We will also invite patient advocacy groups and student groups from around the nation.
